About Me

Let me first introduce you to the basics. I’m Janelle Moran. In elementary, my friends call me Janelle and in high school, I reintroduced myself with the nickname JAM, an acronym for my full name Janelle Airene Moran, and then in college, my newfound friends murdered my name in a cute way by rechristening me with Jami, Jammeh or Jammy, however it is spelled is up to them, though I prefer Jami.

I was a Medical Technology student, until I thought I was could do better in another course. I am shifting to Architecture, a course I believe is best for me.

Modesty aside, I was an overachiever in high school, graduating Valedictorian, was an editor-in-chief, too for the school paper and was Corps S7, the CAT officer taking charge in documentation (this was how I discovered my knack for photography.)

Last May 10, 2011, I got my first DSLR, a Nikon D3100. I’m still exploring the many wonders of photography.

On a personal level, I’m a very altruistic person. I’m always ready to help others. I’m also gullible and reckless. I’m a hopeless romantic.

My trademark: People thing something is wrong with me if I don’t wear my eyeliner. I don’t go out of the house without it.

  1. I saw you on the other blog, and wanted to see…I had a feeling you are pinay. Good luck with school. I have a nephew who’s a very well known architect in Asia/Philippines. His daughter just passed her boards. I’ll keep watching. As I suggested, pray to God every day, and ask him to help you with your struggles. Also thank him for allowing you to wake up every morning. By the way, I’ve been to your college as a visitor last summer, went to the Santo Nino shrine, and stayed at the Waterfront…it was Philippine Independence Day. Went from there to Bohol. I met the chancellor of your school (I think it was your school). He offered me a job in Cebu if I ever want to emigrate from US. Is his last name Ngo? Also met a man who owns the hospitals in Cebu. Don’t remember his name, though. I’ll try to remember the restaurant we ate at, it’s in a picture, but I don’t know the name.

    God bless, Janelle.
